What’s New with OTA Trade – June Update

We’re constantly evolving to make OTA Trade the most powerful and user-friendly platform available—and we’ve got some exciting new updates we think you’ll love. Here's what's new on the platform:
New Trend Drawing Tool – Draw Market Trends with Ease
The new Trend Drawing Tool is here to supercharge your charting experience!
In addition to the popular Zone Trading Tool, this powerful new feature lets you quickly and clearly identify market trends using:
- Trend Lines
- Trend Segment Boxes
- Both!
Many of you learned the Trend Identification Process during your Core Strategy class. Now, you can bring that knowledge forward by effortlessly drawing trend lines and segment boxes. Just click on the current price on your chart and drag to create all four segments of a trend—it’s efficient, and designed to enhance your decision-making.
Broker Integration Just Got Better – Welcome Tradestation & TastyTrade!
We’re excited to announce that Tradestation and TastyTrade are now officially supported within OTA Trade. You can now link your accounts and trade through the platform.
How to Connect:
- Head to the Support tab in MyOTA to watch our step-by-step video on linking your broker.
- Follow the instructions to connect your Tradestation or TastyTrade account.
Having Trouble? Here’s What to Do:
If you experience any issues connecting or logging into your accounts, please follow these steps:
- Contact OTA Trade Support via:
- The Ticket System (available in the platform or Help Center), or
- Email: Support@TradeToolSupport.com
- Include the following details in your support ticket:
- The exact error message (vague messages like "I got an error" aren’t helpful)
- Type of account
- A full-size screenshot showing your entire screen (not just the platform). Be sure to include the browser bar, toolbars, etc.
Tip: Attach the screenshot directly to your email or ticket. Avoid embedding in documents, as the image often becomes too small to analyze properly.
Heads-Up on Email Responses:
OTA Trade Support does respond to every ticket—but your email provider might not put it in the inbox. Please check your Spam, Promotions, or Social folders if you don’t see a reply.
