Kurt Kiddoo holds a degree from the University of Minnesota, as well as a Masters in Finance. His business career started in the late 1980’s, where he was one of the founders of a start up franchise helping to grow the business to 75 retail outlets within 3 short years. After exiting the franchise industry, Kurt spent 12 years working for the largest independent residential real estate company in the country serving in a variety of corporate financial roles. Following his work in the real estate industry, Kurt began working in the financial services industry with a full service investment brokerage firm in several capacities, most notably as that of Risk Manager. In that role, he was responsible for monitoring the firm's risk on a $1.4 billion securities loan portfolio.
Kurt began trading the financial markets full time after completing his first Online Trading Academy class in 2005. His trading experience covers both the Equities and Futures markets. As an Instructor, Kurt believes in keeping it simple for the new student by breaking down complex market theory into easily understandable terms.
