"I wanted to drop you an email to thank you for the fabulous Forex course this week. I have learned so much and it’s already helping with my trading. I have been trading stocks for about 12 months – just learning Forex on a demo platform for now - so this afternoon I shorted a weak stock which couldn’t close the gap and applied your principles. I took one key message from Steve, “Get a free trade as fast as you can,” and one from Sam, “Be bold and let winners run.” I sold 1000 shares short at $27.08 and exited at $25.76. I got to breakeven in 4 minutes and went on to make a profit of nearly $700 for a fairly small position size - a 5% change in stock price in just three hours. I actually only risked 0.25% of my account on the trade as it was a little speculative, so you are right Sam, the potential for letting trades run is enormous. Normally I would have settled for 30c to 50c, say $250. Never again!! You guys work really hard to help us and show great patience when we ask loads of questions! I know I am one of the worst offenders at that but I do learn loads from your answers. Thank you both very much. We are very lucky to have you two in the UK." Dave, January 2010
