XLT - Options Trading Curriculum
The XLT Options Trading course is uniquely structured to align with the monthly cycle of the options
market that revolves around “expiration Friday” which transpires every third Friday of the month.
Fourteen sessions are delivered each month, with each session lasting approximately 2 hours in length. Each session
is structured into 4 unique stages providing a learning experience that blends education with live, market application.
The first component is Market Overview which includes a review of big picture market
trends, current economic events, market news headlines, and seasonal earnings review.
The second stage of each session is Strategy Education focused on learning a
specific options strategy. Strategy Application is the third stage of each session
where all of the strategies learned are used as tools to engage and leverage in live markets in order to measure
volatility and minimize risk. The fourth and final stage is Open Student Forum which
includes; topic reviews, question and answer, scanning for trading opportunities, round table discussions and more.
