Mastermind Instructor

Shamus O'Connor entered into trading the equity markets for his own personal accounts in 1997, but he now specializes in options and strategies.

In 2001 he decided to use his knowledge of trading and the brokerage business to help people. He began touring the country educating individual investors on how to trade the equity, options and foreign currency markets. He has been a professional lecturer involved with educating people on how to become successful in these markets since 2001.

He decided to join Online Trading Academy as an Instructor in 2007 because of the quality of education provided.  He takes a "keep it simple" approach to trading and presents in a manner that makes difficult concepts easy for anyone to understand. Shamus believes trading is constant learning process and he personally gains a lot of lessons from students, reinforcing discipline and rules in his own personal trading. He gets a lot of satisfaction out of helping people trade successfully for themselves and gain financial independence.
