Darek Zelek

As a young, successful entrepreneur, Darek Zelek quickly discovered that understanding economic conditions and recognizing market imbalances of supply and demand leads to opportunities for those that can spot them.

In 2003 Darek started to invest in the Equities and Futures markets, which is how he met his mentor, a Chicago Board of Trade commodities trader. Darek says, “Trading using today’s technology is an incredible business. You have no employees, no worries of worker compensation issues, freedom to work from any place in the world, and ability to find buyers and sellers instantly.”

As a student at Online Trading Academy, Darek used his natural skill and teaching ability to mentor students who struggled as new traders. He took them under his wing and showed them simple, yet powerful techniques that allowed them to become more disciplined traders.

Darek understands what it takes to become a successful trader, and as an Instructor he has the ability and willingness to share his experience and trading techniques with his students. He is one of those individuals that has patience, dedication and passion for trading and teaching.
